In this portrait of this beautiful girl, she is obviously getting her makeup done, but the photographer focuses on her face and you can see her exotic features of her face. You can see her thick eyebrows, beautiful green/blue eyes, and full lips. Even though you can see the head and arms of the makeup artist, the picture mostly focuses on her which is mainly why this is a portrait. The eyeshadow brings out her colored eyes and the lipstick also brings out the fullness of her lips. She doesn't seem like she is posing for this picture, but captures the attention of the audience because of the her beauty of her natural stillness while she is getting her makeup done.
The main focus of this silouette is the shapes of the ferris wheels. The elements of line are clearly shows in the picture. As the light reflects towards the camera, you can see the sunset and the clouds. It has a gradient affect of cooler tones colors at the time and then more warm colors on the bottom. It also gives the texture of the clouds .
In this photograph by Ansel Adams, he uses line, shape, texture, and contrast elements to capture a powerful image of this tree. You can see the lines of the tree trunk which also creates a textured feeling that tree is rough. Even though you can’t physically feel the texture of the tree trunk in the picture, it gives you a sense that there is friction on the tree. The picture is black and white, but has a lot of contrast because there is lightness and darkness of the tree and sky, which creates depth that reveals many details in this photograph. He also uses shape in this photograph because he captured the picture in a silhouette form that takes the shape of the leafless tree and can see all the skinny, small branches of the tree. You can also see the shape of the leaves and trees in the background.
